Hi Reader,

In 2018, I stood on a stage at a women's networking awards dinner and gave a presentation about Grit.

I talked about what it took to get there. The challenges. The push-through moments. The resilience.

I thought I knew what grit meant.

Standing there, I had no idea what was coming.

I didn't know that less than a year later, I'd unexpectedly lose my father.

That COVID would hit on its heels. The shutdowns, the pivoting, the scrambling to keep everything together.

That in 2021, just a few months after joining my first real business mastermind, I'd be diagnosed with breast cancer.

And that's just the headline stuff. That doesn't count the everyday reality of navigating ADHD while raising a child on the autism spectrum.

2018 me thought she understood grit.

2025 me knows better.

So when my business coach, Julie Chenell, told me she was writing a book called Million Dollar Grit (the same name as her podcast) that caught my attention years ago, something clicked.

Because Julie doesn't write the fluffy version.

She doesn't do the Instagram "clean girl entrepreneur" thing where everything's color-coordinated and effortless.

She tells the truth about what it actually takes to build something when life doesn't cooperate with your business plan.

The breakdowns. The quiet wins. The days you want to walk away. And how you keep going anyway.

Million Dollar Grit is part business guide, part memoir, and part lifeline for anyone who's ever tried to create something real when life gets messy.

It's the blueprint I wish I'd had back in 2018 – because it's different. It's personal. It's honest.

And right now, the ebook is completely free. You can grab it here → Million Dollar Grit

Julie also built a custom GPT assistant to help you process the book's lessons in real time – like having a conversation with her about your next move. It's optional, but worth it.

If you've been stuck, second-guessing, or just need to remember who you are underneath all the stuff life's thrown at you – this book will meet you right where you are.

No gatekeeping. No pretending it's all figured out.

Just grit, honesty, and perspective from someone who's actually lived it.

I'm grateful for every single day I'm here.

And I'm grateful for guides like this that tell the real story.

🧡 Jeane

P.S. – The TL;DR:
Julie Chenell's new book Million Dollar Grit is free. It's about building a business when life doesn't cooperate. She also built a GPT to help you apply it. If you've been through it and you're still standing – grab it here →
