Hey Reader,

I hope you're having a fantastic day! I wanted to share some crucial information with you about a recent security flaw discovered in the widely-used WPCode – Insert Headers and Footers + Custom Code Snippets plugin.

A quick note for Website HQ clients: Rest easy – we've already taken care of this issue for you! No further action is required on your part.

This vulnerability affects versions before 2.0.9 and is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. Attackers can exploit users with the 'wpcode_activate_snippets' capability to delete arbitrary log files on the server, even those outside the blog folders. The good news is that the WPCode team has acted responsibly and quickly released a security patch to fix this vulnerability.

So, what do you need to do? It's simple: update your WPCode – Insert Headers and Footers plugin to at least version 2.0.9. The latest version available is 2.0.10.

By keeping your plugins up to date, you're taking a crucial step in protecting your website from potential threats. As always, if you have any questions or need help, don't hesitate to reach out.

#StaySafe and keep rocking your WordPress site!

I hope you have an awesome day!
